  • Tera Majors’ Brussels Griffon Majors High Drive AX, MXJ, RE, NF (Gunner) Q’d on Saturday and Sunday at the APOTC
    Agility trial in Edinboro, earning two more MX legs and a few more MACH points.  

  • Tera Majors’ Border Collie, Nikicina’s Sweet Sacrifice, NF, AX, OAJ (Jade),   at the APOTC agility trial in Edinboro,
    November 8, double Q’d with a 1st place in Excellent A Jumpers and a Q toward her MX, receiving her airst 17 MACH
    points.
November 2008 Brags
  • Karen & Rick Mulkearn’s Irish Water Spaniel Ch. U-SHR Castlehill's Ode to Carey-Aine, CD,RA, JH, WC (Trinity)  earned
    her 2nd & 3rd leg for her Companion Dog title at the Wine Country circuit in Romulus, NY.  This title also earned her the
    IWSCA certificate as an All-Around since she now has her championship, an Obedience title and her Junior Hunter title.  

  • Gina Cattivera’s Border Collie, Nikicina’s Kick It Up A Notch, NA, NAJ (Kixs), was Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite
    Sex for a 3 point major from the Bred By Exhibitor class at the Beaver County Kennel Club show.  The second weekend in
    October found Kixs at the Cleveland agility trial where she got her first leg for her Open JWW title with a third place.

  • Tera Majors’ Brussels Griffon Majors High Drive AX, AXJ, RE, (Gunner) finished his MXJ title and earned 4 more MACH
    points at the Cleveland agility trial. At Parkersburg, he TRIPLE Q’d on Saturday & Sunday, gaining two Exc. Standard B legs
    with a fourth place and a 4th in Exc. B JWW.  He also qualified all three days in Novice FAST completing his title in one
    weekend with two 1st placements and a 2nd place and earning more MACH points.

  • Gina Cattivera’s Border Collie, CH. Comebye Rock This Town, (Roxie) got a EX. JWWW leg with a first place at two agility
    trials in Cleveland;  one last month and an additional one the second weekend of October.  At the Parkersburg agility trial, she
    earned two titles.  She completed her Novice FAST title with a third place and her Excellent JWW title with a first place.  
    Putting icing on the cake so to speak, she also got another Standard leg for her MX with a first place.

  • Tera Majors’ Border Collie, Nikicina’s Sweet Sacrifice, NA (Jade),  was Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex for a three
    point major at the Fort Steuben Kennel Assn. show at the Raccoon Twp. Firemen’s grounds.  In Cleveland, Jade completed
    her Open Jumpers title with a first place and earned another AXJ with another first place.  In Parkersburg, she finished her AX
    title on Friday with a First place.  She qualified all three days in Novice FAST completing her title in one weekend with two
    seconds and a third place.

  • Gina Cattivera’s Siberian Husky, Karnovanda’s Cold As Ice, (Ice)double QQ’d in Novice in both September & October at
    the Cleveland Agility Trial.  She completed her Novice JWW title with all placements in 4 days of showing and earned her
    second leg toward her Novice Std. title with a third place. At Parkersburg, she completed her Novice Standard title with a first
    place.  She completed 2 agility titles while only competing in agility 4 days.

  • Gina Cattivera’s Border Collie, CH. Comebye High Jynx, CD, MX, MXJ, NF (Jynx) qualified both days in Ex. JWW and
    earned 24 MACH points in September at the Cleveland Agility Trial.  At Parkersburg, he completed his Novice FAST agility
    title with a first place.

  • Karen & Rick Mulkearn’s Irish Water Spaniel Ch. U-SHR Castlehill's Ode to Carey-Aine, RA, JH, WC (Trinity)  traveled to
    the Greater Pittsburgh Labrador Retriever Club’s Hunt Test in Grove City,PA    Trinity earned her 4th and final leg of her
    Junior Hunter!

  • Tera Majors’ Brussels Griffon Majors High Drive OA, AXJ, RE, (Gunner) completed his Excellent A title with a First Place at
    the Beaver County Kennel Club Agility Trial on Neville Island.

  • Tera Majors’ Border Collie, Nikicina’s Sweet Sacrifice, NA (Jade),  finished her Open Standard Title with a Second Place at
    the Beaver County Kennel Club Agility Trial on Saturday, September 13th.  On Sunday, she moved up to Excellent A where
    she had a clean run in Standard and received a First Place.  She also had a clean run in Open Jumpers and earned another First
    Place.  She has only been out for five weekends and is just 18 months old.

  • Walter Bloom & Anna Marie Bloom, Hagar’s Bulldogs, are pleased to announce the Championship of their Bulldog bitch, CH.
    Hagar’s Morgan LaFey.  Morgan won her majors at specialty shows under breeder judges.  Her final points were won at the
    Mountaineer Kennel Club on 20 June 2008.  Morgan’s sire is CH. Adamant Warlock, her dam is Hagar’s Hogwart.  Morgan
    was born 26 June 2006.

  • Tera Majors’ Brussels Griffon Majors High Drive OA, AXJ, RE, (Gunner) earned two more legs toward his MXJ and 2
    MACH points at the Cuyahoga Valley Golden Retriever Club in Cleveland on August 9th & 10th.  On Aug. 17th, Gunner
    received another leg toward is MXJ with a fourth place.  Only one more to go………

  • Gina Cattivera’s Border Collie, Nikicina’s Kick It Up A Notch (Kixs)got her second leg on Saturday, the 9th, with a second
    place in Novice Standard and completed her Novice Standard title on Sunday with a first placement.  She completed both her
    novice agility titles with first or second places and has only been competing for three weekends.  On Aug. 23rd, Kixs was
    awarded WB & BOS for another point.

  • Tera Majors’ Border Collie, Nikicina’s Sweet Sacrifice, NA (Jade),  was Winners Bitch, Best of Opposite Sex and Best of
    Winners for a 3 point major at the Beaver County Kennel Club show in Canfield, Ohio.  Jade finished her Novice JWW title
    with a second place on Saturday at the Cuyahoga Valley Golden Retriever Club in Cleveland on Saturday, Aug. 9th.  On
    Sunday, she earned her first leg in Open Standard with another 2nd place.  On Aug. 17th, Jade got a Double “Q” in open
    jumpers and open standard with a first and a second place.

  • Kathy Moran’s Border Collie, Archie “da” Cool Runner got his second leg in Rally at the Columbiana Kennel Club show in

  • JoAnn Thielman’s Boston Terrier, Windi-Pines-Pro’s Dealers Choice (Isaac) was Winners Dog for one point at the
    Trumbull Co. Kennel Club show on Thursday of the Memorial weekend of dog shows. On Saturday (same weekend) at
    the Butler Co. Kennel Club show, Isaac was Reserve Winners. On Sunday at Trumbull #2, Isaac was Winners Dog for his
    3rd three point major. He needs three single points to finish his championship title. Isaac was bred by BCKC member Pat
    Rothenberg.
  • JoAnn Thielman’s Boston Terrier, Windi-Pine’s International Delight (Mocha) was Winners Bitch for one point at the
    Thursday Trumbull County Kennel Club show. She needs a three point major to finish her championship title.
  • Pat Rothenberg’s Boston Terrier PRO’s Dressed For Success (Archie) was Winner’s Dog from the Bred By Exhibitor
    class, Best of Winners and Best of Breed over two Specials for a FOUR point major at his first show at the Butler County
    Kennel Club show on May 24th.
  • JoAnn Thielman & Linda Kubia’s Boston Terrier, Windi-Pine’s Lock-N-Load (Shooter) was Winners Dog and Best of
    Winners for his 2nd three point major on Monday, Tuesday, May 26th at the New Castle Kennel Club show. This was his
    fourth show & he’s not even 9 months old.
  • Pat Lukos’ German Shepherd Dog Von Charisma’s Kami v Sarava, (Kami)was Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex for
    another point at the Erie Kennel Club show on June 15th.
  • Sharon Pappas’ English Shepherd, Pappas’ Rylee at the CPE Agility Nationals received a plaque for Standard Reserve
    Champion in the 20” height division. There were 137 dogs competing for this honor. Rylee is now a big brother to Stellar
    Blast, a blue merle Australian Shepherd.

    Bay Hunting Retriever Club UKC licensed hunt on April 19, 2008 at Resthaven Wildlife Area Castalia Ohio; fourth
    consecutive started pass & title received at Lake Erie Hunting Retriever Club hunt test April 20, 2008 at Maumee Bay
    State Park Oregon Ohio. Passed High Flyers Licensed Hunt Test May 17 & 18, 2008 at Grove City, PA.
  • Marcia (Staci) Pearson’s Briard, CH. Love Is A Godly Virtue, (Veri) took WB/BOS for 1 point at the Progressive Dog Club
    of Wayne City, Inc. on Sunday, April 27th. At Midland MI KC, she took WB for her last point to finish her Championship.
  • Lorraine Fox’ Labrador Retriever SHR Precious Ironweed Ramblin Xena JH, WC received her first started pass at
    Sandusky Bay Hunting Retriever Club Hunt Test April 19, 2008 at Castalia, OH and her second pass at Lake Erie Hunting
    Retriever Club Test Apr. 20, 2008 at Oregon Oh. At High Flyers Licensed Hunt Test she passed her third & fourth pass
    on May 17 & 18, 2008, to receive her title on four consecutive passes on May 18, 2008.
  • Karen & Rick Mulkearn’s Irish Water Spaniel CH. Castlehill’s Ode to Carey-Aine, RA, WC (“Trinity”) traveled to
    Remington, VA for a hunt test. Trinity successfully navigated the high grass on Sunday and the water for her first Junior
    pass. A Junior test is 2 single retrieves on land and 2 single retrieves on water. Four legs are needed for a title.
  • Pat Lukos’ German Shepherd Dog CH. Von Charisma’s Veroni v Sarava was Winner’s Dog for a three point major to
    finish his championship at the Butler County KC show on May 24th. This gives his dam (Detmer's Covy-Tucker Calif) her

  • Kerstin Rilbe’s Golden Retriever Angel earned her MACH (Master Agility Champion)on May 26th at the Golden Triangle
    Agility Trial in Pittsburgh.
  • Pat Lukos’ German Shepherd Dog, Sarava’s Vanta v Von Charisma (Viva) was WB & BOS from the Bred By Exhibitor
    class on May 26th at the New Castle KC show. She now has 8 points with a 4 pt. major from the Bred By class. The goal
    is to finish her Championship from this class.
  • Staci Pearson’s Brittany, Love-Are You Reddi, (Reddi) earned Winner’s Bitch at Butler Co. KC & Trumbull Co. KC for two
    single points. She now has seven points, including one major.
May 2008 Brags
  • JoAnn Thielman & Linda Kubia’s Boston Terrier puppy, Windi-Pines Lock N Load (Shooter) was Winners Dog for a 3
    point major at the Saturday Pittsburgh show. This was his first time in the ring and he’s not quite 7 months old.
  • Gina Cattivera’s Border Collie CH. Comebye High Jynx, CD, MX, MXJ, CGC (Jynx), completed his 10th EX. JWW leg and
    earned his Masters JWW title at the Parkersburg agility trial with a second place and picked up 19 more MACH points. He
    was 9/100ths slower than the 1st place dog. He also competed in the new FAST class for the first time and got his 1st leg
    toward his Novice FAST title.
  • Gina Cattivera’s Border Collie, Comebye Rock This Town, AX, OAJ (Roxie) qualified for her first leg toward her Novice
    FAST title with a third place at Parkersburg.
  • Marcia (Staci) Pearson’s Briard, Love Is A Godly Virtue, (Veri) took Best of Breed at the Saginaw Valley KC over a special
    for another point. Two more singles remain to finish her Championship.
  • Tina Turley-Kocab (and husband Mark) proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Mary Grace, on April 1st, 2008.
    She was 6 lbs. 3oz and 18.5 inches at birth. Congratulations to the sire & dam and we can’t wait to see this new Bred By
    Exhibit.
  • Joann Dhanse’ Giant Schnauzer “Rhett” competed in Obedience at the Harrisburg shows where Rhett earned his CD in
    three shows. On Thursday, he earned a score of 196 (no placement) but got his third leg; Friday his score was 195.5
    (3rd place); Saturday saw him earning a score of 196.5 which entitled him to a first place ribbon.
  • Karen & Rick Mulkearn’s Irish Water Spaniel “Trinity” made the trip to the Irish Water Spaniel Nationals held in Perry, GA
    where she competed in four venues. She got her second leg with a 1st place in Novice Agility Standard; her first leg with a
    3rd place Novice B Obedience; her first leg with a 1st place Rally Advanced and the Breed ring where although she didn’t
    win, she really strutted her stuff and was ALL That!! She also qualified at the Working Certificate (the IWS certificate for
    entry level field work-a double on land and 2 singles in the water). During the weekend of April 20th, she competed in her
    first ever UKC/HRC (Hunter Retriever Club) hunt test. The test is 2 singles on land and 2 singles in the water. Karen
    proudly announced that she passed the Saturday test (Sandusky, OH) and also passed the Sunday test (Toledo, OH).
    She is working toward a Started Hunting Retriever title and needs 2 more legs to complete it.
  • Crystal Morton is proud to announce TWO lovely litters of Shetland Sheepdogs. First litter of 2 boys and 4 girls, Dam is
    Vista Dei I'd Luv U to Luvme "Diana" and the litter was sired by U-Ch. Gemstone Over the Top "Decker" co-owned by
    Crystal Morton and Dave Shumsky. Second litter of 2 boys and 2 girls, Dam is U-Ch. Vista Dei Luvme Luvme Not "Daisy"
    and this litter was sired by Lindores Top Gun "Ricki".
